This page looks very different than my other pages, and that is because i made it in the spirit of one of my other favorite, now long gone, websites i frequented as a kid: 123spill.no

This website was a norwegian classic, ran by Dagbladet, it gave us a nicely curated and frequently updated list of games to play online. Sometimes, games that were not age appropriate would be added as well. And of course i played them, despite the description of the games saying "NOT FOR KIDS." I don't really know why they added them to the list if that was the case.

This site started in 2002 and died in 2020, alongside flash. By then, the site was already on it's way out. It tried to keep itself relevant with point systems and accounts and this and that, but it was over. When flash died, the site died as well. It was extremely unfortunate.

So, another site of my childhood gone, it was fortunately saved pretty well in the internet archive. Browsing trough the archives, i found whatever game i could and added it to The Flashpoint Archive.

After some time while building my resoures page, i figured i would dig into the code of the website itself and make my own version of it, in the spirit of the original, just like i did with my whole page. You learn a lot this way. Do you have any idea how many loadbearing table data and table row codes there are for a page? You remove one tiny thing you think is redundant, and the whole page breaks.
